At a time when work from home has become the order of the day, inconsistent power supply has turned into a very disruptive element in official and domesticc operations. Lack of power during summer is also a very discomfitting.
In the city, areas such as Baner, Wagholi, Dhanori and the Peth areas have been fraught with the problem and residents complain that the issue is not getting resolved despite repeated complaints. For their part, officials of Maharashtra State Electricity Development Corporation Limited (MSEDCL) are in denial of the situation, claiming that these are one-off incidents rather than a persistent issue.
