Dear Sir,
My name is XYZ and I am a resident of Prince George. I am writing on behalf of many other residents of our town to draw your attention towards the requirement of a public library in the area rather than another supermarket.
It was published last week in both the local newspapers that another wing of Costco supermarket is soon opening on 49A street. Very few people would actually appreciate this idea.
There are already six supermarkets in the town, and it is a sufficient number according to the area and population living in Prince George as these many stores can easily cater to the needs of residents. Moreover, it will be futile to establish another department store because it will not receive a lot of footfall whereas we ardently require a library in the vicinity. There’s just one library in the whole town, that too in the PG University and they mostly do not welcome outsiders as it’s mainly used by students.
Currently, a library is a must for the young adults, middle-aged as well as the elderly dwelling in town because many of them seek a quiet and tranquil place where they can read peacefully and have access to good reading material. Therefore I hope you will make a prudent decision in favour of the inhabitants.
