Sir,
I am writing this letter in order to shed light on a very critical issue that has caught my attention due to a certain incident that took place yesterday. The roads in our locality have degraded considerably over the past few years. Yesterday, a hand-drawn rickshaw got stuck in one of the potholes on the road which led to an accident. Although there were no casualties this time, we could face a more dangerous situation than this in the future if no actions are taken.
As a resident and a responsible individual, it was my duty to bring this issue to your attention. Kindly look into the matter and take c=necessary actions for the safety of the residents and passersby.
