I deposited an amount of Rs. 1025 by a cheque on the Bank of Maharashtra , Thane Branch , (No. NB 1234567) in my S.B. Account No. 421 in your bank on October 1 . The cheque has duly been cashed but the amount entered in my pass – book is Rs. 125 . This is , obviously a clerical error and I will be thankful to you if you look into the matter and get the necessary correction made in your books as also in my passbook .
