[SUBJECT:COMPLAINT ON UNNATURAL ELECTRICITY BILL]

Respected Sir / Madam

This is to inform you that l believe that I have been billed to high for the month of June. Usually,my bill amounts to around ₹4000-5000. But this month,i was billed ₹10000.

For some reason, there has been an excess usage of lights in my house. I even went for a two week vacation with my family from 7th June to 21st June. We locked the house and left no light on. However I am being charged. I believe that there has been a mistake for I know what I do at my home. I request you to rectify this mistake and refund the extra moneyI had been charged. Please look into this issue at the earliest.

Thank You,

Yours Sincerely,

Sir,

I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy electricity bill. Needless to say there has been some anomaly or breach of duty. Either the meter readings have not been taken properly or our new meter is faulty.

I am quite disturbed how such an exaggerated amount in bill could have been reached. So I request you to have my meter checked and also get the meter readings confirmed. I shall be obliged to pay the bill till this dispute is settled if I am assured that the excess amount paid would be adjusted in my future bills.

I would be highly obliged if you could settle this matter in accordance with the provisions to the satisfaction of your customer.

Thanking you,
