We are a housing society and most of the residents are old and retired people.We are facing a huge problem with either no street lights or dim lights.In the evening they are many senior citizens who go for a walk and the lack of lights is an hindrance for the safe walk.The lack of lights is an asset to thieves as the job is half done in the darkness.I hence request on behalf of our colony and society request your kind self to take immediate action and get the lights repaired and also replaced.

Subject: Defective street lights in Koregaon park creating problems to the residents.

Sir,

With due respect, I would like to draw your attention to the worsened conditions of street lights in the locality. From a very long duration of 6 months, the residents of Koregaon Park are facing a very severe issue regarding the street lights.

The street lights aren't working at all. There is all darkness around the locality during the night time. None of the residents feel safe. The parks which used to be filled with  joy and laughters of kids during the evenings, now are just empty and unsafe. All the residents pay their maintenance charges though are not provided with the basic amenities like street lights. The senior citizens find it very difficult to live in the locality. The darkness has allowed many cases of robbery. This is ruining the locality's reputation.

The locality needs immediate attention before something serious happens. I request the authorities to look into the issue and get it's solution as soon as possible.
