A letter is a written message that can be handwritten or printed on paper. It is usually sent to the recipient via mail or post in an envelope. Letter writing are of two types: formal and informal letter. An informal letter is written in a friendly manner and is used for personal or casual communication and is written to someone we are familiar with such relatives, friends, close associates, and so on. We write formal letters for professional or official communication

Respected Sir

Sub: Concerns regarding women's safety

Indian censuses, socioeconomic data and crime data have repeatedly emphasized that women still suffer serious violence and discrimination in the Indian society, despite their growing education and mobility. Indian women and girls have decades of being insecure from womb to grave. Official data show the vulnerability is not unfounded. How did governments do to change this? In their culture, community, politics and economy, Indian women want to be safe. Even if the Government wants to ignore the survey and data , the everyday reality of millions of Indian women can not be ignored.

Personal security issues, including fear of sexual harassment and oppressive social expectations restricting autonomy of women, prevent women from seeking employment, and limit them to the positions of primary caregivers. Stories of the harassment of women became more common in the # MeToo era. This also lead to women's security and the demand to promote gender equality and gender equality throughout their operations being held accountable.

Though previous governments have taken may steps, nothing has changed really.  Police departments will quickly develop and adopt new approaches to ensure that people are protected and that criminal behavior is a step forward.  They must draw on some creative and replicable measures taken in other countries to strengthen the security of their female populations

Hoping that the department would comeout with real stringent measures to protect women against the daily evil that they are facing

Thanking you

Yours Sincerely

Geetha Tyagi
