SUB :- Measures to Curb the Covid-19 Pandemic
Sir/Madam,
I am a resident of AH block, Sector - 3, situated in your jurisdiction. I am writing to you with great concern regarding the irresponsibility of the people towards curbing the spread of Covid-19 in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
The lockdown in West Bengal was initiated on 23rd March 2020, with specific instructions regarding isolation, social distancing, and wearing masks at all times. However, many residents in my locality have been roaming freely, without masks, and often crowding outside a particular shop to buy groceries and necessities. Also, police patrol cars are fewer than ever, because of which these people are indulging in such incorrigible behaviour. Right now, strict supervision of each locality and door-to-door checking of every family must be conducted on by the police force and civic bodies at the earliest.
I sincerely request you to look into this matter and adopt the right measures to curb the pandemic at the local level immediately.
