The Postmaster,

Subject: Non-delivery of a Parcel.

Sir, I booked a parcel containing some valuable books and papers in the name of my friend Aadash Kumar, 51 / A, Kumar House, Chennai-52 by Registered Post on August 5, 2001 in your post office vide your Receipt No. 0592, Dated, August 5, 2002. It is a matter of concern and surprise that the parcel has not been received by the addressee so far, evidently it has been misplaced or lost in transaction. The parcel contains some rare specimens of books and papers and are as such very valuable.

As such, it is requested that steps be taken to trace out the parcel at an earliest. I hope you will take enough pains to see where the said parcel is stranded. The negligence of staff in dealing with such valuable items cannot be ruled out.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely

Kusum Bajpai
