Since it is a formal letter to the principal, your parent should write the letter. Start your letter by writing your place and date on the right side corner and start with “from” and “to”.
From
Name of your parent
Address
To
The Principal
Name of the school
Place
Respected Sir,
Sub: Discontinuing the class - reg.
My son/daughter is sutdying in (mention the class) in your esteemed institution. This is to bring to your kind notice that he/she would not be able to continue the classes hereafter as (mention the reason).
I request you to consider this letter and do the necessary as soon as possible.(if you want your T.C. , Mention it)
Thank you
