Sir,

You have notified us that our House Examination will begin on the 10th of December. I think no useful purpose will be served if the examination starts on this date. Examinations are meant to test what students have learned. But during the last three weeks, students could not study due to the Annual Sports of the school. They were busy gearing up for the event. Naturally, no one could study. I hope you do not want us to fare badly in the examination.

We request that the examination be kindly postponed for a fortnight. This will enable the students to make preparation and thus do justice in the examinations. In this way, the real purpose of the house test will also be served.
