I would like to request you to kindly grant me an exemption from the upcoming English class test to be held on 15th May 2020 because I have to practice for an inter-school public speaking competition that is being held on 16th May 2020 at Alpha Beta High School.

Since I am the only student representing our school at the event, kindly oblige me by granting my request.
