Respected Sir:
I am writing to your esteemed self to request to extend the duration of sports period for classes IX to XII. The existing 40 minutes long period is too short. 5 minutes get spent in reaching the ground and making other preparations. Sports period is the only time we get to play any sport or do physical exercises. After the school we hardly get any time to play for various reasons such as lack of grounds and open spaces in colonies, self-study, extra-classes, etc. Besides, in 35 minutes we hardly manage to finish the game we start in the sports period.
Your wise self knows how crucial sports are for the proper growth of body and mind. I hope you will ponder over our request favourably and extend the sports period by 20 minutes. Thanking you.
