Respected Sir,
I would like to draw the kind attention of the relevant authorities to the problem of the beggary. Indeed, it is a long-standing Delhi issue that has now gained alarming proportions. It does not seem to be the mere necessity of people with disabilities and who are not in a working condition. As hale and hearty people can be seen egging, it has become a regular profession. Children are being pushed into the trade as well and are now being seen everywhere.
Some of them may be pick-pockets and skilled thieves . These beggars do frequent chain-snatching and purse-lifting incidents. It is reported that the beggars were involved in various crimes. They are commonly seen around religious and tourist sites in buses, red lights.any anti-social elements have taken beggars ' robes to escape watchfulness and serve their ends.
This situation requires immediate action in order to free Delhi from beggars. This issue should be taken seriously by the authorities concerned and steps taken to put a complete ban on begging.
