I have written this letter with great regret, so as to inform you that the traffic police at the crossroads are arrogant, rude, and ignorant of the traffic rules of the country. People everyday drive by the roads without helmets, or without proper papers, as I have observed. They drive by the roads, not caring for the speed limits that have been laid down. They spit chewed tobacco on the walls, too. If they bother to look at the traffic and catch a few people, a few hundred rupees is all it takes for the person to be out of police custody.

Such officers do not bother to look away from their phones, even during the prime time, to manage the traffic. The crossroads are a place of constant chaos. The situation worsens when the traffic lights malfunction.

I request you to take immediate action regarding this matter. If the police officers continue being ignorant, the roads and the people might witness a devastating accident one day.

     Sub: The letter is regarding the unbelievable behavior of the traffic police.

I would like to introduce myself, I Sunil Sharma lives in the residence of Lawrence Road. The letter is regarding the behavior and violations of traffic rules by the traffic police. The traffic police of Lawerence road is letting people disobey the rules and regulations of traffic. The officer in charge allows pedestrians to not wear helmets, no seat belts, no speed limit, etc. There was also a sign of bribery that occurred between a two-wheeler person who went on a fight with the officer stating that he had all the required documents and yet he is being punished.

As you know the importance of protecting these rules which when not followed will impact a huge loss to the public lives. Therefore, I kindly ask you to take action for this behavior of violating basic rules of traffic.
