RE:CHALLENGES FACING SMALL FARMERS.
I hereby write this letter in reference to the above mentioned subject matter. Our farmers are facing serious challenges and we believe as the concerned authorities, you will step in and salvage this situation.
There has been issues with pests attacking our crops. This was due to heavy rains which poured last season and we are appealing to you to provide us with pesticides.
Lack of market. Last season, most of us were not able to get market for our products. This is because the market has been flooded with imported good. Kindly do something.
Heavy taxes on labor and seeds. Since we are just small farmers, we are appealing to Government to reduce on this tax. Looking forward to your response. Thank you
