Dear Gaurav,

Hello dear friend. It has been so long since we wrote to each other. I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to you today to discuss my preparations for the upcoming SSC exams.

For the preliminary exams, I had prepared extensively. My hardwork paid off and I saw a considerable improvement in my scores. I assessed my own preparation and constructed a plan to make the best use of the two-month study leave given to us. I hope you would also take tips from my preparation and score good marks for the exam.

I start my day at 6 A.M. every day. I made a timetable where I gave priority to the subjects I found difficult. I allotted more time to them. I start by reading the easy lessons first and then tackling the more difficult ones. I practise writing the answers within a given time limit. I practise Math questions daily from the question bank and learn important formulae. I practise writing in Hindi and take help from my neighbour to understand difficult concepts. My mother helps me with English grammar and she routinely checks my answers. This has helped me improve my scores and my self-confidence.

I hope I will be able to repeat the magic in my SSC exams and that I will succeed in my endeavour to score more marks. Do write to me and tell me your suggestions.

Yours truly,

Panth
