My dear Uncle,

Many thanks for your kind letter inviting me to spend my vacation with you in Kashmir.

When I read your letter my joy knew no bounds. As you have men­tioned in your letter that Kashmir ‘is a paradise on earth’ so my curiosity was aroused all the more to visit Kashmir. My father had also agreed to my spending the vacation with you.

I will let you know about my actual date of reaching Kashmir as soon as my examinations will finish on 15th April.

I am extremely glad to learn that you will make arrangements for my stay in a House Boat. I shall greatly enjoy it. I am thrilled to think that I shall be enjoying the beauties of nature in the valley of Kashmir. I hope that my health will also improve there during my stay.

I am anxiously waiting for the day when my examination will be over and I shall be free to join you and enjoy your pleasant company. How is dear Aunt kindly convey my regards to her.

Dear Ashoka!

hope you are in the pink of health!

You would be glad to know that my summer vacations are about to begin from the next week...

I have already started making plans for my vacation. This time I plan to go to that part of Kerala where some scenes of the serial Chakravartin Ashok Samrat had been shooted.

Kerala is a wonderful place, a must-visit for one and all. It is rightly been called as God's Own Place...! You do know my love for natural and scenic beauty! I am one of a kind who would prefer a walk by the garden to a dinner at a restaurant..So, in short I am a true pantheist and kerala would certainly be the best place for me to visit. My dad's friend lives in Kerala and he has agreed to show us round the beautiful place. We would also get hold of some of the spices of kerala for sure...Aha! we will also have a boat-ride on Kerala. I can't wait to relish on Coconuts of Kerala..

I wish you could join me in this wonderful vacation...Have you made your plans yet? Or do you wish to stay at Kolkata with "Fish recipe books" in your hands throughout the day?
