Tree Plantation Day was observed at Chandpara Bani Vidya Bithi (H.S.) School with great zeal and enthusiasm on 5th June, 2014. The HM of the school presided over the ceremony. He inaugurated the programme ceremonially at 11-00 am by digging up the soil and planting a sapling inside the school compound. The local Panchayet Prodhan Mrs. Sefali Biswas graced the ceremony as the chief guest. The students then went on planting and fencing saplings of various trees supplied by the local panchayet in and around the boundary walls of the school. At 12-00 noon the plantation programme ended. Then the HM gave a short but impressive speech on the importance of tree plantation programme in view of global warming. Then came the speech of the chief guest in which she thanked the students for their untiring effort to make such a programme a grand success. Finally, the ceremony came to a close with a vote of thanks to the chair.

our society is organizing an event 'save the planet mission.' on 4th June 2018 this event aims at spreading awareness among people about environmental issues like global warming, pollution, poor waste management and so forth. The event consists of many activities like 'Cleanliness drive' wherein, in groups, we will be picking rags on the road and dispose of it wisely. Further, we have another event of 'Plantation' in which we will be planting plants wherever we find space. Also, there are many more interesting events.
