Hello,
M-3, Ashok Vihar,
Phase-3, Delhi…
5th August,

Dear Nitin,
You know it well that we have a five days week in our school. We have off days from Friday night to Monday morning.
One of my friends had invited me to her house in a nearby village. I spent a very interesting weekend there. We got up early in the morning and went out for a stroll. We enjoyed ourselves in the cool breeze and pollution free atmosphere. We drank fresh cow milk. We ate saag and Makka ki Roti. At noon we drank that fresh juice of the sugarcane. Then we want to a failed. We uproot carrot and radish, washed them in the water of the tube well and ate them to our fill. The buttermilk was tastier then the curd we eat in the city. Her present gave me a warm welcome.

I stayed there only for one day. Rest when we meet.

My dear Pulkit,

You know that we have a five-day week in our school, i.e., Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday being the weekly off days. So, practically, we are free from Friday evening to Monday morning.

One of my friends, Anurag had invited me to his farmhouse in a nearby village for the weekend. I had a very interesting time there. We got up early in the morning and had a stroll among the green fields of wheat and barley. We enjoyed the cool breeze and pollution free atmosphere. We had a bath in the running water of the tubewell. We drank buttermilk. We also enjoyed the fresh juice of sugarcane. We uprooted ear roots and radish, washed them in the water of the tubewell and ate them to our fill. For lunch, we had ‘wag’ and cornbread enriched by butter.

Anurag’s parents received me warmly and treated me very affectionately. The weekend I feel, rather passed too soon.
