Dear Teacher,

While we learn much in your class, I feel as though it would do all of us good if we were to attend the exhibition. Not only would we be learning, but we would be having fun while doing so. The lessons taught to us at this exhibition would be much more likely to stick, and we would be able to have a change of scenery.
