Dear Charu,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. How are uncle and aunt these days? And how is Chintu? Is he still as notorious as ever? A lot of things have changed over the past year, ever since the pandemic began.
According to recent reports, the number of covid infected patients is on the rise again. Many states have enforced lockdown again. Here in Kolkata the schools and colleges that had just reopened have been shut down again due to students and teachers testing positive. What are the conditions there in Pune? I heard they will be observing a lockdown for this month. Are you all following the safety protocols? Sanitation and social distancing are the main two things to be kept in mind. Please stay safe and healthy. During these hard times, all we can do is pray for the safety and good health of our loved ones.
Hopefully, once all of this is over, we can visit each other again since it has been a long time. Give my warm regards to uncle and aunt and lots of love to Chintu. Take care of yourself too.
