Dear Sejal,

Hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. As you know, I accepted the invitation from my friend, Mayank to visit Mussoorie. Although we have been living in Dehradun for the past one year, this was my first visit to Mussoorie. I visited all the Tourist spots including Kempty Falls and Lal Tibba. It was full of fun. There is a ropeway which takes you to Gun Hill. We enjoyed the trolley ride with the breathtaking view of the entire city and ice capped Himalayas. I wish you were here with me in Mussoorie. I stayed there for about 15 days and really enjoyed myself. You must also visit this beautiful place soon. Please convey my love to Mama ji and Mamiji.

Yours affectionately,

Sophia

Dear Shivam,

Thank you very much for your letter. This summer was a memorable one. In June, I went to a school camp. It was very interesting. There we were getting ready for the upcoming exams, went to the pool, a library, an exhibition hall, visited the archive, which stores old letters, newspapers, magazines, books on the Great Patriotic War.

July was the most memorable month. I spent it in Krasnodar with relatives. The weather was wonderful. All day long we swam in the Black Sea, sunbathed, examined the local attractions, visited the museum, cinema and a huge gift shop. The sea was so good I did not want to leave it.

August I spent at home. I finally managed to read the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s  "Favorites". I also began to learn Spanish. This language is very beautiful. In the evening, I was walked with friends, together we are having fun.

Tell us more about your visit to Crete.  What was the most unforgettable? What did you eat in the local restaurants?

I look forward to your next letter.

Yours affectionately,

Shivu
