I am fine and hope the same for you. I am writing this letter to tell you about a flood that occurred in some parts of our district.
The flood was really devastating. We heard in the news that about 100 people were killed and there was an immense loss of the buildings and properties too. My friend who lives in Shimla told us that they were facing a huge scarcity of resources. For five days they didn't get any food. The government authorities were not able to provide help. We did not experience any flood but a spell of rainfall.
