I hope this letter finds you in fine fettle and high spirits. My exams are going on very well. Dear father, I have one request which I am sure you will grant me. After the exams I desire to learn swimming. My other friends are also going to join the swimming classes. We are planning to learn to swimming at Sutlej Club. The pool there is not deep at all; even at the deep end it is 7 feet deep. The classes are taken by expert swimming coaches; all safety measures are taken care of. Dear father the charges for one month are rupees 4000/- Kindly allow me to join these classes as I don’t want to grow up with the fear of water. The rest is fine. Warmest of regards.
