I reached Shimla yesterday. I was tired of the scorching heat of the plains.

I’m glad to state that Shimla is just like a paradise. It is rightly called like Missouri, the Quean of Hills. It is all pleasant here. A cool breeze is always blowing. The rain is frequent but it is not inundating as in the plains.

All around Shimla there are lush green forests of pine and other trees. There are sparkling springs everywhere.

I, therefore, invite you to come here and stay with me during the summer vacation. Then we’ll visit Jakhu, Kufri and other places and have frequent walking trips in forests and over the hills. I live here with my uncle who is a very generous, jolly person.

My dear father,

Ever since I learnt about Shimla in my classes I wanted to visit that place. I wanted to go for a trip to Shimla with my friends. I feel that Shimla is one of the attractive tourist spots in India. We enjoyed the weather in Shimla since it is a hill resort. We had a lot of fun and sang songs around the campfire.

It was really amazing time, playing with my friends and enjoying the nature. I learn many new things and I'm glad to inform you that i have buy a little gift for you. And atlast I missed you alot dad. In next summer vacations i wish to visit that place again with my family.
