Dear father,

How are you, Dad? I hope you, Mom and Bro are doing well. I am also fine here. My studies are going great. This college is far better than I thought of. I was accepted in the new environment from the very first day. Professors and students, both are very co-operative and kind. I cannot believe that one month passed from the day I left home and I am living without my family. I have made friends, even a best friend.

I wanted to ask you for new laptop. In the college, I need to submit the projects and assignments for which laptop is required. I am searching a part time job over here. Soon I will be earning so that I can cover my day to day expenses of college and accommodation. Even laptop will be useful for me in earning income. I hope, this will be the last thing I am demanding from you. I know that I don’t have to explain you much about purchasing something, but I think it is my responsibility to make you understand.
