Dear Father,

I am fine here and hope you and Mother would be the same. I have scored highest marks in all the subjects this year. I want to request to you to increase my monthly allowance as the prices are going high, especially in metropolitan cities like New Delhi. The monthly allowance is falling short. I use it carefully but to give you an idea, one cup of morning tea costs 40 Rs. It's my humble request to you to increase my monthly allowance. Please reply soon. Hoping to come home in summer vacations.
