I hope this letter finds you in great health and cheerful mood. I am writing this letter to tell you that I participated in the state level Basket Ball tournament recently. You will be proud to know that I was the captain of the team. You will feel prouder still to know that our team won the championship. In the final match I scored 15 shots and was declared as man of the match. The best thing is I have been selected for the national team which is scheduled to go to Australia to play matches. Dear Father, all this success I have been able to achieve just because of you. I am proud of you. My studies are also going on quite well. Give parnam to mommy and grandparents.

Dear father,
I hope you are doing well. I have a really big news which I want to share with you. You know that being a renowned basketball player has always been my dream. Well, this time I got a chance to live my dream.
Last month we had basketball trails in my university. Many kids got selected and I was one of them. However, the coach was impressed by my performance to such an extent that he made me the captain of the team and yesterday we had our final match of the tournament. Guess what? Our team won and everyone was so happy. I was ecstatic to hear everyone praising me and my team.
I hope you can come see me play next month as we have another tournament coming up. looking forward to hearing from you.
