Dear Father,
Hello Father. It's been long since I wrote to you. I was busy with my First terminal examinations but now they are over, Today I have written this letter to convey about the reason behind my poor performance in half-yearly examinations.
I am very sorry to tell you that my Grades on Maths and Physics are low. As you have received my result last week, I was disappointed with my result as well. The reason why I was not able to perform well was due to sudden death of grandma, I found it very hard to focus during the dark times. I was neither able to concentrate on my classes nor my health. In my final examinations, I will surely try my best and work harder. I will make you and mother proud.
I hope you will understand and convey my regards to mother and love to young sister.
