Dear dad,

I have received my birthday gift yesterday, and I would like to thank you for the alarm clock you gifted me on my birthday. It is indeed a very useful gift for me, and I was thinking of buying an alarm clock from a couple of days. I learnt punctuality from the gift that you gave me.

I now never get up late and thus reach my school on time. The loud noise hurts my ears, but never fails to wake me up. It also reminds me to complete my homework, study for exams and time to watch cricket too! I

I thank you once again for the grand present.
