Dear Father,

I hope this letter finds you and all at home in good health. My studies are going well.

I am writing this letter hoping that you will consider my request. I wish to bring to your kind notice that it is very difficult for me without a bicycle. The bus services here are not regular. I have to wait for a long time at the bus stop. I waste a lot of my time and as a result, I reach school late. Beside that I have to reach for my science and mathematics class on time in the evening.

I would like to buy a bicycle which will save my precious time and energy that I can put into my studies. The cost of bicycle is approximately Rs. 1500.

Pay my compliments to mother and love to younger brother.

I need a bicycle because when I go for tuition it is like 5 kilometres far and it takes me 40 minutes to reach there. By the time I reach there I get exhausted and I have no energy left for concentrating. I think buying a bicycle will help me reach in 15 minutes and I can concentrate in class properly. I hope you would consider my request. You can buy it as a gift for my upcoming birthday.

I hope to hear from you soon whether if it is possible to buy a bicycle or not. If not then I'll understand. Anyways I am ending this letter now.
