Hope you're fine out there. I'm also enjoying my holidays here along with my family. I had been waiting for your letter but to my surprise you had forgotten all about this year. Anyway,I hope this letter reminds you of something as I have written it for a purpose.
I am enjoying my Dusshera holidays right now,the one which you loved the most in India.I thought you would remember it but it's quite surprising you forgot it in a year. But let me tell this...if only you were here,you would have known how colorful this festival is this year! The atmosphere is of zeal and enthusiasm,markets are full of people,shopping,sweets and happiness is all that you can find in this festive season. This year is unlike other years where we use firecrackers..Fortunatley,this time we won't pollute the environment. Our state government has decided not to create any sort of noise or air pollution this year...Since firecrackers contain lots of chemicals...its totally banned in my state. I feel so good to celebrate dusshera in such a state where the government really cares about our environment. I realise how much difficulty you had faced the previous year because of that harmful smoke and traffic...wish you were here,you would have seen how careful our government is about traffic. Not only me but everyone is happy with the decision of our government.
Anyways,you dont need to regret for that,I will make sure I record the whole festive season for you. All I want from you is to visit India again,perhaps next year if you missed this time. I'll be waiting for your reply too. Warm greetings to you and your family.
