You must be busy with Christmas Celebrations at Norway. Christmas is such a beautiful festival. It spreads the message of love and humanity. In Nepal too we have two festivals equally important. They are Dashain and Tihar.
Both the festivals of Dashain and Tihar are celebrated just after Durga Puja. They are celebrated to condemn evil and glorify good. The festivals also emphasise on the goodness of Mother Earth and all her creations. Many animals are worshipped to emphasise upon the fact of healthy coexistence.
In today's materialistic and synthetic world these two festivals are of great significance. They inculcate in young adults the responsibilities and moral lessons of taking care of Nature and being righteous.
