Dear Meena,

How are you, my dear friend Meena? I hope my letter finds you at the best of your health. I am fit and fine here. I was missing you very much. I am writing this letter to tell you about 'Polythene bags a Nuisance'. I recently went to a seminar and I learned about bad the bad effect of polythene. They are very harmful to our environment. They are non- biodegradable waste that takes too many years to decompose in the soil. Thus, the pollute the soil. Even when they are burnt they cause air pollution. When they are thrown in drains they block the path. They should be replaced by paper bags and cloth bags which are eco-friendly in nature. Many polythenes are still present in oceans and make the water polluted. Many aquatic animals and plants get affected by it. When domestic animals like cows, dogs eat the polythene their food pipe gets blocked. So, polythenes are harmful to organisms and the environment also.  

Let's create awarness people among people to avoid polythenes and start using paper and other biodegradable things.
