Dear Rachel,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and great spirits. Amidst the pandemic, I had a lot of time to myself and decided to write to you about my birthday gift.
As you already know, it was my birthday last week and my uncle managed to send me a story book by courier.
The book was ' The Lion King', which belongs to the 'Fantasy Literature Genre'. When read as a fantasy literature, the story is very interesting, but if read otherwise it delivers many pertinent messages. Simba, the lion cub is the protagonist of the story, backed by equally important characters like Pumbaa, Nala, Rafiki and Timon. Scar is the antagonist who takes over the kingdom with the help of hyenas.
After Mufasa, the lion king's death, Simba runs away from his responsibility of saving the kingdom. When Rafiki made Simba realise that his inner worth was equivalent to his father's, he went back to his home and took revenge. The story tells us that instead of running away from responsibilities, we should deal with them. It also proves that a friend may be of any stature and that, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
The story is equally alluring to both age groups and has left a mark on my heart. Do write me back and tell me yours thoughts about it. I hope you will also recommend me some books that I may find interesting.
