The letter should have three paragraphs. The first paragraph should be the introduction.This paragraph can be you congratulating him/her on the marriage.

The second paragraph should be the body of the letter. This paragraph should contain the reasons why you cant attend the marriage.

Then the last paragraph would be the conclusion paragraph. This paragraph is concluding the letter. Remember, this paragraph is not meant for any explanation rather in this paragraph your meant to say something like 'Am sorry I couldn't come, but I hope to see your reply'. It shouldn't be this short but you should understand what I mean.

Then after the conclusion paragraph, you move to the next line and say something like this:

Yours truly,

(yourname).

Then your done. But make sure you put the correct punctuations and check your spellings correctly. Don't use word that your not sure of their meaning. And if they give you a specific number of words like 150-200 words, make sure you don't exceed it.
