Dear Liza
I received your letter yesterday. In it you have expressed your inability to join us in the picnic. You also wanted to know my experience in the picnic. Dear Moon, what a pleasure it would have been if you were in the midst of us! Really, we missed you very much. Anyhow here is a short description of the same.
We selected Sonargaon for the picnic spot. It is some twenty miles of Dhaka. We were about thirty five in number including one of our teachers. We reached there by bus at about 9 am with all necessary utensils and materials. After having reached there, we finished our breakfast by 9.30 am. We did not take any cook with us. Our Mathematics teacher, Mr. Anwar Hossain has a reputation as an expert in cooking. He helped us in cooking.
At about 2 pm the lunch was ready. By this time all of us became hungry. So, we all of us took our lunch with full appetite. After lunch, we went out for sightseeing. You know Sonargaon is a place of historical interest. It was once the capital of Bengal. The museum of Sonargaon charmed us most. We started for home at 5 pm after taking our tea.

Oh, it was such a lovely day today! My family and I went to the local park - it was unusually peaceful today - and had a picnic. Mum baked the yummy apple pie, Dad made the grilled cheeses, and Lisa bought some other food and drinks. I know you've had picnics before - heaps of times! - though this is my first time, and I very much enjoyed it. Everything was delicious, and even little Roxie got to have three slices of bacon. The only thing that bugged me was the orange juice; it was a tad to sour and sort of tasteless. And one of the croissants Lisa bought tasted bad, as if it had already expired. Oh, perhaps it was expired! Well, it's already in my tummy, so what can I do now, eh? Anyways, I had good fun today with my family. I hope you're well, (friend's name)!
