Dear Raj,

I hope this letter finds you with the best of your health. I received your letter yesterday and I am glad to know that your school session has started after summer vacations and you are working very hard from the very first day. I have made some new friends here in the last two months since I moved here but I miss you a lot.

You have asked me in your letter about the last book which I had read in the library. Well, you know I love reading novels and story books as it is my hobby, but recently, I read a book called “The Antidote To Patriotism” in my school library. The book is about British people and their culture and I thought I must recommend this book to you because it inspired me a lot. It was written by Groos Britain and it's very entertaining. It highlights very interesting facts about Britain.

The theme of the book is the discussion about British patriotism and how the writer perceives it. The prospective given in this book is new because the writer believes that patriotism should replace with nationalism. For me, it is the book that has opened my mind to view the phenomenon of patriotism in an unconventional way. We as kids never though that patriotism could be divisive in a multiethnic nation because we have learnt that patriotism is the feeling of love, devotion and sense of connection to a homeland. I am sure you would love this book because of your deep interest in political cultures, social, civil aspects and trivia of various nations.

Please do read about this book as it's quite simple in vocabulary and do let me know about your thoughts about it.

Say my regards to your parents at home.

I am looking forward to see you soon.

Yours sincerely,

Ram
