Dear Rima,

            I am glad to know that you are doing well. I am also fine. In your letter, you asked me about lakes and rivers in Himachal Pradesh.

            I want to tell you that Himachal Pradesh is actually a mountain state. It is situated in Indian Himalayas and over 55 thousand kilometers of the area is covered by it. Ravi. Chenab, Beas, Satluj and Yamuna are the major rivers here. All over, 25 lakes are there in Himachal and most of these are filled to the brim at the time of summer.
