I was glad to receive your letter. It was a pleasure to know that you are enjoying the winter vacations at your Mamaji’s place in Lucknow. You have asked about kvs Foundation day held at my school. Well, The Foundation Day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan was celebrated at Meenambakkam on December 15. On the occasion, cultural programmes were performed by children and awards were distributed to teachers. KVS Chennai Region presented the Regional Incentive Awards to 17 teachers from various Kendriya Vidyalayas in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Other 12 awardees from around the country were also felicitated. Ministry of Science and Technology has introduced Sir C.V. Raman Science and Technology awards for innovative efforts in teaching science at primary and higher secondary level.It was a properly arranged and well managed function.
