Pochampally is rich in handicrafts. It is famous for Ikkat sarees which have a registered trademark. The students visited Pochampally Handloom weavers association where a number of workers were seen working. The most important thing noticed was the quietness and cleanliness was also clearly visible. We learnt about the raw materials, weaving process, dyeing of threads, pattern making etc. It was a knowledgeful visit. thank u
