Dear sharmin,
It was very nice of you to have written to me. You will be glad to know that I got the first prize in the debate competition in English in a collage on the topic "importance of learning English in our society" that we briefly tell you about what I said there.
English is an international language most of the knowledge of the modern civilization is available in English if we avoid learning English we will keep ourselves aloof from the civilized world our education will suffer most or because almost all the books necessary for higher education are written in English it is quite impossible to replace English with bangla overnight.
It is unfortunate but true that English is being underestimated which is causing the degradation of its standard as a result the standard error of education itself is coming down it is high time we realise the importance of English and took necessary measures to upgrade its standard.
