My dear Kavitha,

Received your letter. I was happy to know that you had gone on a trip to Ajanta and Ellora very recently. Your letter was interesting to read especially the note which you had written on your visit to these places and their importance. It’s good that you had gone on a trip before the Board Exams. It must have been refreshing now. These days I am studying hard for my board examinations. But sometimes it gets very dull and boring. My English teacher, Mrs. Sushma, is a very nice person. She advised me to visit museum to remove boredom and also gain knowledge in recreational activities.

Really, it was a nice experience. I saw many ancient and contemporary art objects and mementos. Even a small stone had a fine story to tell. I realized that museums are a mine of knowledge. The things here tell us many things of our past and help us to understand the future and present. I saw many old type of weapons, coins, clothes and ancient books.

It took me a complete day to see the whole of museum. I liked it so much that I wished I could go there more often. It is the modern and easy way to increase one’s general knowledge without getting bored.

Give my regards to parents and love to Chitra.

Yours Sincerely,

Rakesh.
