Dear grandpa,

How are you? Father told me that you were unwell. I am sure that you are not taking your medicines regularly. Please take good care of yourself grandfather or I shall not speak to you. Although I missed all of you a lot this Diwali, but I had a great time in the hostel too.

Our warden took us to an orphanage to celebrate Diwali with the young children. These children were so excited to have us and they welcomed us very warmly. I taught many children to make greeting cards for their teachers and friends and also decorated the place. In the evening we all prayed to the Goddess Lakshmi together and hugged each other wishing everyone "Happy Diwali". Then, we ate the snacks and sweets given by our teachers and burnt a few crackers with their assistance. This Diwali was the most memorable experience of my life.

I have planned to visit such orphanages every year. I am eagerly waiting to meet everyone at home after my exams!

Love and Regards,

Dear Arin,

It has been a long time since I wrote to you. As you know, diwali had already been celebrated by Hindus around the globe. I had already planned before diwali that this diwali will be eco - friendly for me, free from. any kind of crackers.

As I woke up in the diwali morning, I found the environment of my entire home changed. Mom and dad were dressed up and my small sisters were still having a good sleep. I brushed my teeth, had a bath and had my breakfast. After breakfast, the day passed slowly as none of my neighbours were here during the day. Night arrived and I along with my family worshipped the god and the goddess. We wished each other and I and my sister took blessings from our parents and from gods and goddesses. Finally, the diwali night was over and we went to sleep.

Arin, I would be excited to hear from you your diwali experience.

Yours lovingly,

Prince
