Dear Rhea,
Hey! How have you been? Thanks a lot for the last letter you sent! I had a blast reading it. It was pretty interesting to know how you've been coping with online lectures and quarantine all this while, and how different both of us were accomodating ourselves to it.
Though the shift from live classes to online classes was immediate and unexpected, it was pretty refreshing to go from traditional classes to online classes. It was relieving to know that I didn't have to board the school bus and nearly spend two hours on the journey to school and back home. It's just very convenient and flexible to learn and carry out activities at the comfort of your own house. These classes provide all of us an opportunity to make discussions student-centred and interactive, which is something not all of us could accomplish offline. It's also pretty easy to obtain study materials and resources online and refer to them instantly without having to skim through pages and books just to understand one line. It's also pretty cool to submit work through Google classrooms and get rewarded points for it and get feedback from classmates. But at the same time, it does get hard to pay attention during class with all the distractions around. I could easily browse something on another tab and the instructor would have no idea. Besides that, operating classes online becomes a tedious job when one's facing connectivity issues and problems with the device used. Moreover, prolonged uses of devices during online classes, combined with the time we usually spend online can be severely damaging to our physical and mental well-being.
I heard from your sister that you were facing some issues with your vision due to your increased screen-time, hope you're doing alright now! That's all I had to say, hope that your parents and your sister are in the best of their spirits, sending good vibes your way!
Yours lovingly,
Jane.

The writer describes the hill station of Coorg located in the western ghats in the state of Karnataka. It is located midway between Bengalore and Mangalore. The suitable time to visit Coorg is from September to March. The place is famous for coffee plantations and spices. There are abundant rainforests which cover 30 percent of the area. The Coorgi men are brave warriors who are permitted to keep firearms without a licence due to their trustworthiness. The women of Coorg are pretty. Coorg is also known as Kodavu and the Kodavus, though are Hindus by religion but their customs differ from those of mainstream Hindus. They marry within their community. Kodavus are said to be of Greek or Arabic descent. Some soldiers of Alexander’s army settled there. Also, as the ethnic dress of the Kodavus, Kuppia is similar to the Arab garment Kuffia, it is said that maybe their ancestors were Arabs or Kurds.
