I am writing this letter to say you that we celebrated Diwali in a great manner. We did not burst crackers to follow a green diwali, yet we had a lot of fun. During the evening, we lit up dozens of diyas which looked glorified to watch. It was the best way to celebrate Deepawali without sound or air pollution.

All our cousins meet together and played many games. We sang songs and danced too! All the cousins were movie lovers and movies were flowing like a river during this festival. We spent most of our time watching those movies with a cup of popcorn by our side! We had a great fun during the festival as we chatted about our school and friends.

Writing a letter, I would like to read how your family celebrated this festival of lights. Looking forward for your letter soon.

Yours faithfully,
Nikhita.J

Dear Juhi,

How have you been ? I hope you are fine and doing well. But still, when are you coming to India ? Seriously, I miss you a lot..... Anyways, how was your Diwali ? Hope you could get time to enjoy it... But, you'll be glad to know how we celebrated Diwali this time.

This time, we thought of bringing a change. We decided not to burst crackers nor buy them. Rather, we lit up dozens of diyas and candles and it was an extraordinary view ! And yes..! We also went to the temple and while returning, we bought a box full of sweets and snacks. Moreover, this Diwali was more like a family reunion for us !

All my cousins, uncles and aunts, had come to my place and guess what?! We watched dozens and dozens of movies, ate snacks, played games, had a talk about our friends and childhood memories, pushing ourselves back into our sweet flashback.....

Yet, talking about our 'flashback' I always remember you... I really miss those days when we used to play, study and do crazy stuffs together.... I wish you were there with us... And I hope that in the next Diwali, you'll make your way out to visit India....

Yours lovingly,

Pooja
