Dear Brother:
I hope this letter finds you in fine fettle. I am writing this letter to advise you regarding your addiction to mobile phone which his making you irresponsible, negligent, and careless. I have been told that mobile phone has become a source of major distractions for you. You use it all the time. You are thoughtlessly and uselessly wasting your precious time on useless sites. Even I have been tracking you for a few days. Most of the time you are online! I was shocked to see you online last night at 2:00 a.m.! What were you doing?
Well, dear brother you must have heard the famous saying: ‘Dissipation and profligacy is the sure road to ruin.’ Mobile can’t be blamed for the wastage of time, money, and energy. The only thing wrong is your recklessness and ignorance. Mobile is a wonderful technological tool that gives you instant access to infinite knowledge; a tool to communicate with your parents, friends, mentors and relatives. Those youngsters, who are using it for entertainment purposes, are disoriented and foolish. I don’t want you to be in this category. I want you to use mobile for self-improvement and enrichment.
Let me warn you we gave it to you for convenience; not inconvenience. If you don’t mend ways, it can be withdrawn from you. Kindly use it; but be moderate! I am sure you won’t misuse it. Misusing will only engender more problems. In our family education is the first priority, and doing well in it is your first responsibility. I hope you will keep the family principles intact and use mobile phone wisely. Give regards to mother and dad.

Hope you are doing well. Glad to know that you got good scores in your exams and that Uncle got you a smartphone as a gift.
I hope you use the mobile phone with discretion. A smartphone has many advantages if used with discretion. Remember not to get yourself addicted to it. You can use it for making/receiving calls and sending/receiving messages. But, remember that these also have to be done positively. Avoid obscene conversations and messages. Also, try to set a time of the day up to when you will use the handset. Do not use the phone after this time of the day unless it is for emergency purposes. You should not make/send unnecessary calls or messages to people at odd hours in the night.
Also, use the Internet only for the right purposes. You may use it to post on your social media accounts or browse websites. Be cautious of the websites you access.
