Thank you for your recent letter. It is so wonderful to hear from you! I am very glad that you had a good vacation.
As for me, I also spent a wonderful vacation. First, I lived with my parents in the garden. The weather was hot and I swam a lot with my friends. We played soccer and rode bicycles.
And in August we went to Cyprus with my parents. It is a large island in the Mediterranean with a wonderful climate. We swam in the sea and were lying in the shade of huge eucalyptus trees. We traveled along the mountain paths and played tennis. Anyway, it was a memorable summer.
How did your academic year begin? Are there newcomers in your class? Any new subjects?

Please take my friendly salute Yesterday, I got your letter, You have asked me to write you about how I spent the last sumer vacation. I am writing it below.
Our school was closed about one and half month on account of the summer vacation. I left the hostel and came back home. During this vacation, I tried to improve my knowledge in my school subjects. Morning was the only time when I could read. Mid-day was very hot. So, study was not possible then. In the evening, I sang songs and played some indoor games. In this way, I spent almost all the days of the summer vacation. Only for two days I went to the nearest town to visit my Grandma house. I could not do any social service during this vacation. because I was weak in Mathematics and tried to make up my weakness.
