Summer vacation is soon going to be over. This year, through a culture immersing summer camp, I got a chance to visit Shillong for a week. The ancient culture and heritage of the ‘Scotland of the East’ has left me mesmerised forever. I enjoyed exploring the seven floors of the Don Bosco Museum. They represent the seven states of North East India. I brought home a lot of souvenirs from the Shillong Bara Bazaar. A also bought a few for you, and have couriered them to you. I hope you like the gifts. We also spent a very peaceful night on a houseboat by the Umiam Lake. Shillong was an enchanting experience, and I’d love to go back there in a few years again.  Did you visit any place of interest this time? Do let me know!

Finally, I have decided to visit you and hope this letter finds you in the best of health and happiness.

I am off for 3 weeks for my annual vacation and have planned USA as my holiday destination and visiting you in Texas is on my itinerary.I will be leaving Dubai on 21th of January. I have planned a week in New York and the other in Washington, will do what you say in Texas.

ʟNew York is a happening place, I will be visiting a few friends and clubbing but a boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty, Time square and shopping is on my priority list. I will be alone in Washington, visiting the memorials. So, I am sorted for 2 weeks.

However, you have 2 weeks ahead to plan for my stay in Texas and it will be the last part of my journey. Can you think of a farm stay or a relaxing trip to the lakes for a quiet time out?
